Spiral PCD Round Products
Please note that the following list is but a sample of the PCD spiral round that Shade Tree Mfg. LLC produces. Configurations are subject to change. Call or e-mail us and we will be happy to supply you with our most recent product catalog and answer any questions you may have.
What is PCD?

PCD material is fabricated from prime, hot-dipped, galvanized steel (1) that has been cleaned and fire-treated. Next an epoxy primer (2) is bonded to both sides of the metal. Lastly, a 4 mil polyvinyl coating (3) is heat-fused onto one (4x1) or both (4x4) sides of the metal.
Why use PCD?

4x1 PCD products are fabricated with the polyvinyl coating to the outside, and are used for either underground systems, where protection from the soil is needed, or above ground where protection from the environment is required.

4x1 Reverse PCD products are fabricated with the polyvinyl coating to the inside, and are used for above ground fume exhaust systems where protection from corrosive materials is required.

4x4 PCD products are fabricated with the polyvinyl coating on both the inside and outside, and are used in applications where maximum protection is wanted both inside and outside.

Spiral Fittings

All fittings are made standard as male size (1/8" smaller) for slip fit into standard spiral ducts except for female coupling, which is made female size equivalent to standard spiral ducts. Fittings come standard unsealed, with sealing available on request. Elbow fittings are fabricated with segmented standing seam construction for maximum rigidity, durability, and air-tightness. Fittings are standard fabricated (but not limited to) the following chart for Underground duct:
